Programs

It’s all about the kids!

The Kiwanis Club of Hailey and the Wood River Valley sponsors a number of programs to benefit children and families in the Wood River Valley. Our club supports the local Key Club at the Wood River High School.  Through out the year, we provide new coats and winter garments for those in need of help during the cold months. We gather aluminum cans and donate the proceeds to local park improvement projects. We fund scholarships for The Todd D. Peck Law. Enforcement Scholarship Program at CSI as well as sponsor BCRD Sports programs and a Soccer (Futbol) team in El Salvador. We contribute to many kid’s programs throughout the valley – First Books in collaboration with the Friends of the Hailey Public Library – a reading program at Alturas Elementary.  Our members saddle up to command the concession stand at the Days of the Old West Rodeo, we gather warm clothing to give to kids throughout the year and serve up Hot Dogs at the Meet the Fleet Airport event. Do you want to make a difference in the lives of children and families in the Wood River Valley, join with us or partner with us. Together we can change the world, one child at a time. With the Kiwanis Club of Hailey and the Wood River Valley, it’s all about the kids!

Thank you Bob Wiederrick for your incredible continued efforts collecting aluminum cans for the parks of Hailey.
